Someone’s been remembering to add to their savings. Appropriate for a Provider Ranking of Digital Banking Apps, this month’s list has accumulated 15 apps in the top 10 positions.

This month’s list starts out pretty sedately, with the top seven positions held by contenders that were there last month too. After that, there’s been some shifting of positions, including one contender that’s added six points to its score and moved up a spot in the rankings.

The Top 5

Leading the pack again is Chime. This app earns a perfect score of 100. That’s one way to stay ahead in a crowded field.

Two points behind with a score of 98 is Nubank. This app holds on to the No. 2 spot again this month.

Next up is Revolut, With a score of 96, this app again earns the third spot in the rankings.

Close behind with a score of 95 is Monzo. Following the pattern, this app is also in the position it was in last month.

Yes, definitely a trend. Starling Bank returns in the No. 5 spot, now with a score of 86.

The Top 10

Right behind that with a score of 85 is KOHO. This app is running sixth, as it did last time.

Sharing the No. 7 level, as they did last time, are Current and Dave. They are tied with a score of 79.

Next up and with a score of 72 is N26. In this month’s first change of position, this app moves up one spot in the rankings. With a score that’s six points higher than last time, it’s also this month’s biggest mover and shaker.

Running side by side in the No. 9 position are four apps that have each earned a score of 70. Commercial Bank of Dubai, Mashreq Neo and Tangerine have dropped back one position since last month and landed here, while Empower has moved up one — and, by adding five points to its score since last time, it’s become a mover and shaker.

Rounding out this month’s top 10 are two contenders with a score of 67. Monese and Up shared this spot last time and they close out this month’s Provider Ranking of Digital Banking Apps.
