If stability is a good thing to have among financial service providers, we’ve hit the jackpot in this month’s edition of the PYMNTS Provider Ranking of Personal Loan Apps. The eight contenders hold the same spots they held last time, and the leader carries on with a score of 100 — as it did last month.

Like the other PYMNTS Provider Rankings, this monthly list of personal loan apps features the contenders ranked based on the score they’ve earned with channel coverage, up-to-date downloads, monthly average users and sessions for user plus average session length.

The Top 5

Remaining in the top spot, for the second month in a row, is SoFi. This app has once again achieved a perfect score of 100 — that’s tough to beat!

Right behind, in second place, is MoneyLion. It holds on to the No. 2 spot with a score of 95.

Also retaining its previous ranking is Avant. This app makes a return appearance at the third spot.

Close behind with a score that’s only one point lower than Avant’s is Upgrade. It’s keeping a firm hold on the No. 4 position.

Rounding out the top five, as it did last month, is LendingTree.

The Top 10

The second tier of this month’s rankings, too, is the same as it was last time.

Holding on to No. 6 in the competition is PaySense.

LendingClub was new to this elite group last month and it returns this time, once again in the seventh spot in the rankings.

Rounding out the list and clocking in at No. 8 is another familiar face, FlexWage.

The Provider Ranking of Personal Loan Apps contains eight apps and lots of stability.
