Just How Bad is Dodd-Frank For Debit Card Issuers

In this exclusive NEXTcast interview, David Evans checks in with Moshe Orenbuch of Credit Suisse for his take on the Dodd-Frank Bill. Moshe is a Managing Director and is responsible for research in the Multinational banks and Specialty Finance sectors.

President Obama interrupted his vacation to sign the financial reform bill last week which has sent shockwaves throughout the industry. Moshe and David sit down to discuss just how bad the banks could get hit.


 

Executive Bios: Moshe Orenbuch is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse, based in New York. He is responsible for research in the Multinational banks and Specialty Finance sectors.

Mr. Orenbuch joined Credit Suisse First Boston in November 2000 when the Firm merged with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He covered Specialty Finance at DLJ from 1999-2000. Prior to that, Mr. Orenbuch was a senior research analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein, where he covered credit card issuers and regional banks. Prior to that, Mr. Orenbuch worked as an auditor and management consultant at Deloitte Haskins & Sells. In each year beginning with 1993, Mr. Orenbuch has been a ranked analyst on Institutional Investor’s All-America Research Team.

Mr. Orenbuch graduated from Yeshiva University in 1984 with a B.S. in Accounting, summa cum laude.
