What I’m working on now... Growing the company’s flagship retail ticket exchange site through new markets. The recent launch of our mobile-optimized site,, marks our first venture into mobile commerce. We also recently launched a Spanish-language ticket site (, aimed at Spanish-speaking customers in the US, which is growing rapidly.

My crowning achievement is... Leading the team that grew’s GTV by 136% in the first year under my management.

When I go shopping, my preferred method of payment is... Credit card for most purchases; prepaid card for smaller purchases at places I visit frequently (such as Starbucks).

I think the next big thing in ticketing is... Offering consumers more options for finding and purchasing last-minute, hard-to-get tickets.

Cash is... Sometimes a necessity for consumers in the brick-and-mortar world.

Mobile commerce is... Becoming more complex as the variety of mobile devices expands and the line between mobile and non-mobile eCommerce blurs.

Social commerce is... Quickly becoming one of the most important factors for SEO / SEM success.

The most important thing to consumers is...
A safe, secure and user-friendly shopping experience. Consumers need to be able to find what they’re looking for and decide if the merchant is trustworthy within a matter of seconds, or they’ll go elsewhere.

Jessica's background includes experience in usability and user experience, online marketing and web analytics.
