Yesterday, Ingenico and First Data announced a partnership to port First Data’s TransArmor ® security solution across Ingenico’s Telium line of products in 2012. Greg Boardman, SVP of Product and Development at Ingenico, North America spoke exclusively to MPD CEO Karen Webster about how merchants stand to benefit.

Greg Boardman 
Senior Vice President, Product & Development – Ingenico

Gregory Boardman, Senior Vice President, Product and Development, is responsible for delivering Ingenico’s innovative world class payment solutions to retail and banking clients in North America by leveraging the best-in class secure payment technologies and point of service hardware and software architecture.

As a seasoned POS industry insider with over 20 years of experience, Boardman has held numerous senior leadership roles within the electronic payments and merchant services industry. He oversaw and helped develop, market, and promote POS products and solutions, including transaction security initiatives. Some of these products and solutions remain among the world’s most popular POS devices today. Before joining Ingenico, Boardman held a senior product security role with Fifth Third Processing Solutions, one of the world’s largest merchant acquirers. Prior to, Boardman was Vice President of Global Product Marketing for Hypercom, where he and his teams defined and executed the product launch of the Optimum terminal line. He also spent several years serving as Director of Customer Relations for PMT Services, one of the then largest independent service organizations in the U.S.

Boardman has earned his General Management certificate from UCLA and is currently continuing his academic studies at Grand Canyon University.

Boardman lives in Chandler, Arizona with his wife Rhonda and two sons Cameron and James.
