Alfa-Bank Introduces International P2P Transfers Across CIS

BPC Banking Technologies, an open system global ePayment services provider, announced the launch of a new person-to-person money transferring program for Alfa-Bank, the Russian financial services provider, reports the company in a press release. The new service will be available to customers via ATMs and online banking, and will enable users to make P2P transfers across Russia and CIS countries.

    The P2P scheme will also allow the delivery of card-to-card transfers for MasterCard and Visa cardholders in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine. Alfa-Bank customers can also make P2P transfers to cardholders with card accounts issued from any CIS bank through the ATM network. Money transfers will allow transfers by rubles or US dollars.
