CFPB Begins Accepting Money Transfer Complaints

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau announced Thursday that it will begin accepting money transfer complaints from consumers.

In a blog post, the CFPB lists lacking available money when promised, receiving wrong amounts, seeing unauthorized transactions as some issues that are permissible complaints.

Consumers should have information such as the name and address for both sender and receiver, date of transfer and the receipt or transaction number available when making a complaint.
