Clydesdale, Yorkshire Bank Add Mobile Banking Due To High Demand

Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks of the UK announced the roll out of their Apple and Android mobile banking apps, reported Finextra. The banks report this was part of their strategy to support and listen to their banking customers.

    The mobile apps aim to assist customers with money management and financial transactions while on-the-go. After receiving over 20,000 customer responses, the banks concluded that adding a mobile banking feature was the top request.

    All customers with a current account have access to the new apps and can download them for free.

Customers very clearly told us that they rely on their smart phones and tablets more than ever before and the app has been developed in direct response to that feedback.”
