Chicago-based daily deals player Groupon released a new version of its Breadcrumb point-of-sale (POS) app on July 23, TechCrunch reported.
The updated app features a Groupon redemption tool that tracks how many Groupons have been redeemed. It also stores offline purchase data for up to an hour, a tool that the media outlet said will help merchants when they lose their Internet connection.
