Indian payment network RuPpay has debuted as an additional payment option for eCommerce use, The Hindu, an English-language Indian news source reports. Several websites are currently taking RuPay payments.
“All I can say is that the project is live right now,” a source told the newspaper. “The formal launch, however, may happen sometime later this month or next month.”
