New Zealand-based online accounting software provider Xero has raised $150 million to take on U.S. market leader Intuit, AllThingsD reported on October 13.
The capital was provided by Matrix Partners and Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures. Xero plans to use its funds to grow its U.S. business.
