Restaurant chain sweetgreen has announced a partnership with LevelUp to launch a White Label mobile payments and rewards application. The app, which will run on LevelUp, will allow users to pay for their order with their phone and collect rewards as they spend at the restaurant.
Sweetgreen will only accept mobile payments during the launch period as way to drive adoption, and will offer $10 back for every $100 consumer spend at sweetgreen locations.
“Mobile payments offers us a ton of options to create a really unique experience for our customers, and we are excited to see how our partnership with LevelUp is going to evolve,” said Nathaniel Ru, co-founder of sweetgreen.
The sweetgreen mPayments app represents the first LevelUp White Label app to go live, notes Mobile Commerce Daily.
