Payleven, a European provider of mobile and card payments, announced it is now offering its services in the Austrian market. Retailers and merchants in Austria will now be able to utilize payleven’s Chip & PIN card reader solution for card payments.

    Payleven primarily targets small and medium sized businesses across Europe. Once the merchant has installed a Payleven payment device, they will be charged 2.75 percent for each card payment. Payleven’s decision to enter the Austrian market was influenced by the country’s increase in consumer card ownership.
