PayPal Cuts Costs For SMBs

PayPal announced plans to waive up to $50,000 in processing fees for select mobile and web firms as part of its Blueprint Startup programme, an October 30 report from Finextra reveals.

Eligible mobile and web firms must make less than $3 million annually, be less than five years old and be nominated by one of three of PayPal’s incubator partners. Processing fees will be waived only in the first 18 months.

“Every penny matters when people are starting and running a new company…We understand how hard it is to get on your feet, which is why we have created the Blueprint programme, to offer help and expertise to the next generation of developer startups,” PayPal exec Stan Chundovsky told the media outlet.
