Streamline Glitch Halts UK Payments

Thousands of companies across the UK have reported missing payments due to problems with Streamline, the nation’s largest payment processing business, reported The Telegraph. Streamline, a Chip & PIN payments processor, said it was currently looking into the problems and have flagged them as “high priority.”

    According to the article, the missing payments were from transactions between last Friday and Sunday and several companies reported they were having major problems.

    “We are aware of a technical issue which has meant that some customers have not received settlement for transactions processed between 26-28 July as expected. We are looking into the issue as a matter of urgency and will be communicating with customers as soon as we have more information. We apologize for any inconvenience caused,” stated a spokesperson for Streamline.
