Taxibeat, a Greece-based, Uber-like taxi app founded in 2010, announced it raised $2 million in new funding on July 15, TechCrunch reports.

    The capital will help Taxibeat as it looks to expand in the Latin American market. Taxibeat is set to begin services in Mexico City starting in mid-July.
