Ariba, an automated B2B payments-settlements service, has handled its first transactions, the company announced this week at a user conference in Las Vegas, where it demonstrated pending mobile apps for its buyer-supplier management business, according to a report on IT-Director.com.
The Ariba Network is becoming more data focused.
“Real-time response is no longer enough; predictive is the power of analyzed business networks,” said Rachel Spasser, Ariba chief marketing officer. “It’s time to embrace networks and their intelligence to transform commerce.”
Ariba, an SAP company, said it would bring more of its apps and services onto SAP’s HANA platform and cloud.
