Basware Inks New E-Invoicing Deal

Basware Corporation announced earlier this week that it had signed an e-invoicing agreement with an interior renovations provider that is located in North America. While the release did not specify the customer, it did say that the agreement includes all inbound e-invoicing services, as well as a scanning service and mobile solution for processing e-invoices.

These services are expected to be implemented in North America and the value of the agreement exceeds EUR 400,000 over the course of three years.

According to Basware CEO Esa Tihilä, Basware is excited about the new opportunity, and is eager to add value to the customer’s financial operations “by providing services that empower their e-invoicing adoption.”

“The customer will benefit from increased accuracy of e-invoicing data and the Basware Commerce Network that enables easy collaboration with their suppliers,” Tihilä said.

Just earlier this month PYMNTS.com discussed Basware’s expansion on its relationship with a major brewing company to provide cloud based services that are powered by its Alusta platform for purchase-to-pay for the firm’s North American operations.
