Food ingredients company Kerry Group announced earlier this week that it had renewed its contract with Tungsten Network, globally extending invoice automation to all of its businesses across Europe, North America and Asia. Previously, Kerry Group processed invoices electronically with Tungsten in the UK and Ireland.
According to a company press release, the extension will include the introduction of e-Invoicing, Purchase Order Services and Invoice Status Service. The goal is to simplify processing and improve payment on time for suppliers.
“Following a thorough review of the market, we chose to continue working with Tungsten Network to build on the success of our existing program, ” at Kerry Group Chief Procurement Officer Tom Murphy said in a statement. “In particular, we value the functionality of the Tungsten service, the steadfast focus on compliance and its expertise in supplier engagement.”
Earlier this week, PYMNTS.com reported on another Tungsten extension announcement. Telecommunications firm BT Group has worked with Tungsten since 2003, but signed an extension to bring eInvoicing services to more of its companies.
