Fainbrum, called an “industry veteran,” will work out of the regional HQ in Buenos Aires. He will “oversee the company’s rapidly growing footprint in Latin America, which includes Sub1, the region’s leading payments gateway.”
“At GlobalCollect, we pride ourselves on our strong regional position in Latin America. With our local footprint, deep industry and regional expertise, and our Sub1 payments gateway, we offer a very comprehensive payments solution for any merchant looking to enter or expand into Latin America,” said David Jimenez, Chief Revenue Officer of GlobalCollect, in the release. “In leading our Business Development efforts across the region, Matias has been instrumental in our growth there.”
Fainbrum joined GlobalCollect in 2010, and under his leadership, the company grew its customer base in Latin America by 300 percent.
