Payments processor i2c announced the opening of its new Singapore office yesterday to further grow the market for prepaid and mobile services in the Asia Pacific location, according to a company release. The new office will include product, client services, and business development staff.
Payments processor i2c announced the opening of its new Singapore office yesterday to further grow the market for prepaid and mobile services in the Asia Pacific location, according to a company release. The new office will include product, client services, and business development staff.
Through its global processing platform, i2c offers prepaid, debit, credit, and emerging commerce solutions. Issuers are working with i2c to launch travel, virtual, mobile, corporate and government prepaid products in Asia Pacific, a “key growth area” for i2c.
“With our client base in the Asia Pacific region growing amidst a backdrop of rapidly expanding consumer demand for flexible prepaid and mobile financial solutions, it makes sense for us to invest in the region,” said i2c’s Scott Salmon, general manager, International, in the release.
The office will also give i2c a physical presence in the Asia Pacific to better support its strategic alliance, announced in November 2013, with Visa in the region.
