New Partnership Set To Boost B2B eCommerce

Ecommerce company Gorilla Group and consulting firm itelligence announced last week that they had joined together to offer a new turnkey omni-channel B2B commerce option, Gorilla’s hybris Catalyst.

According to a joint statement, the new tool will streamline the integration between hybris and SAP® enterprise business applications.

“We identified a need within the enterprise market to roll out commerce solutions quickly, without sacrificing quality or functionality,” said Bob Meyer, managing director at Gorilla Group. “By complementing exceptional SAP and hybris technology with the extensive expertise of the Gorilla and itelligence teams, we are fully able to implement end-to-end commerce solutions within compressed timeframes to help drive growth.”

Gorilla and itelligence formed a strategic partnership earlier this year, the release said. The partnership was expected to help each firm leverage its experience with ecommerce and SAP solutions to give customers strong ecommerce solutions.

“Today’s increasingly complex omni-channel world represents both a challenge and an opportunity for the enterprise,” said Kevin Harris, director of Channel, Americas, at hybris. “B2B customers now demand functionality that matches their online consumer experiences and increasingly expect to be able to seamlessly interact through any medium. To keep ahead of the market and adapt quickly to the changing behaviors of their customers, B2B organizations need to implement solutions that support rapid innovation and experimentation.”
