PayPal Stops Promoting Card, Focuses on Creating New Payment Options

Even thought there is a lack of promotion, the company still continues to find new ways for consumers to make payments.

PayPal has stopped promoting its payment card to consumers, according to ReadWrite.

However, PayPal’s Senior Manager of Communications says that that despite the lack of promotion, this does not mean that the card will be discontinued.

The company wants to focus on delivering better experiences than what already exists.

“If a customer chooses to use a PayPal payment card, they can easily request one through the site, or contact customer service,” PayPal’s Chris Morse told ReadWrite.

The company believes that at the end of the day it’s important for the consumer to have a choice for how and when to pay.
