Fleet management company Omnitracs on Wednesday (Nov. 19) announced that it was appointing Jim Gardner as vice president of marketing.
“The Omnitracs business portfolio has grown significantly over the past few years, with new product innovations and the acquisitions of Sylectus, Roadnet and, most recently, XRS Corporation,” Gardner said. “I look forward to spearheading the marketing communications strategy to strengthen awareness of the Omnitracs brand and its market influence, positioning the company for continued growth.”
“Jim brings extensive market and brand development expertise to Omnitracs,” said David Vice, chief sales officer of Omnitracs. “His technology background and knowledge of the software as a service (SaaS) industry, coupled with strategic vision and strong leadership skills, will be invaluable to Omnitracs as we integrate our new business units into the brand portfolio.”
Omnitracs said that Gardner comes to the job with more than 20 years of experience in optimizing marketing programs and accelerating business to business (B2B) company growth.
