With the addition of Nuvei to Arcadier’s platform, marketplace merchants will have access to customized and optimized payment flows, customizable reporting and reconciliation dashboards, and more than 570 alternative payment methods that they can add to their check-out flows, according to a Thursday (Sept. 8) press release.
“Flexibility is power, so sophisticated engineering is at the heart of our platform’s success,” Arcadier Chief Commercial Officer Gary Ramsell said in the release. “Nuvei’s payment solution has allowed us to give our customers access to innovative payment technology that adapts to the needs of every marketplace.”
The deployment of this payment technology will help Asia-based Arcadier as it expands globally and meets the growing need for multi-vendor marketplaces, according to the press release.
“At Nuvei, we are trusted for our local and global payment solutions that are designed specifically to relieve merchants of the complexities inherent to multi-channel payments,” Nuvei President Yuval Ziv said in the release. “We’re delighted to support Acadier’s push into new markets.”
For merchants, having the right data at the right time can close the sale, Ziv told PYMNTS’ Karen Webster in an interview posted Wednesday (Sept. 7).
The right information can even turn a declined transaction into a completed one by helping consumers “pick and choose” among several payment options, which in turn helps boost acceptance rates, Ziv said.
“If the merchant has the capability to receive data properly analyzed by the merchant team or by the payment provider — or by both — then you are really pushing forward towards a streamlined checkout process,” Ziv said.
