Shopistry Teams With Square To Advance Headless Commerce

Headless commerce startup Shopistry is partnering with mobile payments firm Square to help merchants introduce custom commerce experiences like digital storefronts and mobile apps, according to a Wednesday (Sept. 1) press release.

Shopistry’s new incorporation with the Square Solutions Partner Program means it will be totally integrated with Square Online and Square Payments and available on the Square App Marketplace.

“Partnering with Shopistry will help provide even more ways for our sellers around the globe to run and adapt their businesses, especially as they grow and look to deliver unique experiences without creative limitations in a post-pandemic environment,” Square Head of Partner Management Gabriella Hernandez said.

Headquartered in Toronto, Ontario in Canada, Shopistry was launched in 2019 and helps growing brands roll out online and on mobile, while also helping them offer omnichannel experiences for their customers. The Square integration will further assist retailers in managing inventory and sales information on a single platform while also syncing products and updating purchases automatically.

The collaboration will also give Square merchants access to Shopistry’s top headless commerce products along with operational expertise that offers a host of benefits on a single platform. Aside from custom webs stores, merchants can integrate mobile apps backed by Google’s Flutter technology.

Tools are also included to help merchants explore social commerce while also driving engagement and discovery across multiple channels. Payment integration is built to work seamlessly without messing with regular businesses processes, according to the release.

Shopistry offers a modular commerce platform that gives brands options to quickly roll out omnichannel shopping experiences. The startup offers an extensive list of products as well as managed infrastructure and premium integration.
