Authvia Raises $7M to Expand Its Text-to-Pay Solution

Pay2Day Solutions, or Authvia, has closed a Series A round for $7 million, which will be used to boost partner channels, sales and marketing efforts, a press release says.

Authvia has a patented text-to-pay solution called TXT2PAY which lets business request and receive payments through text and other digital messaging channels, which works on accelerating cash flow, eliminating PCI risk and keeping data safe, while also making for a seamless mobile pay experience.

Enterprises and ISVs looking to put Authvia’s solutions in place can access them through modern APIs, Authvia Portal, Authvia for Salesforce or by connecting their own partners.

Authvia’s proprietary multi-processor wallet lets customers pay with a simple text reply any time they need to use an invoice or payment request.

“Our goal is to innovate and provide the most compelling conversational commerce experience in the market today, for merchants and consumers alike,” shared Chris Brunner, founder and CEO of Authvia. “We are thrilled to have closed this round of Series A funding led by Red Door as it has enabled us to expand our market reach and grow our team, quadrupling our sales and marketing efforts. We have also been able to exponentially grow our pipeline, allowing us to move forward with our mission as the leader in the next generation of payments and messaging technology.”

Authvia recently teamed with Text Request, the business texting software provider, to help out with text-to-pay services with a new offering: Payments.
