1-800-Flowers Moves Into Gifting With Goodsey

1-800-Flowers has taken a big step forward into the gifting arena with the launch of Goodsey.

Described by its parent firm as a perfect place for “gifting and wishing,” Goodsey will feature unique items across a wide range of product categories. According to 1-800-Flowers, shopping on Goodsey will be a “fun-filled experience of exploration, discovery and delight” that will make it easy for shoppers to find the perfect gift.

The new shopping arena comes as part of 1-800-Flowers’ overall strategy to build a one-stop shopping ecosystem for anyone looking for something special. Goodsey is the third new brand the company has added to its growing portfolio within the past year.

“With Goodsey, we are leveraging the Celebrations platform we’ve built to expand rapidly into new product categories, offering shoppers a wider selection of options to help them express, connect and celebrate,” said CEO Chris McCann. “We are excited to welcome Goodsey, further solidifying our position as the destination for customers to fulfill all their gifting needs.”

So what kind of stuff is Goodsey offering up? Home décor, outdoor living, kids, pets, art, jewelry, personal care, customizable fragrances, gourmet foods, and plenty more. The goods are offered at a wide range of price points and are designed to be strong hitters for a variety of occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries, as well as for categories such as sympathy, congratulations, get well and just because.

The site also makes suggestions for shoppers, helping guide them through the gift-giving experience.  Celebrations Passport loyalty members — 1-800-Flowers users who get standard free shipping and no service charges for one full year on purchases made across the company’s family of brands — will be able to use their benefits on Goodsey.
