Dunkin’ Launches Free Coffee Mondays For February

Dunkin’ is offering its DD Perks members a free medium-sized coffee with any purchase every Monday through Feb. 22.

“As we head into the home stretch of winter, we know our fans could use a little extra boost to stay energized. With Free Coffee Mondays, we look forward to keeping our rewards members running with a free cup of hot coffee to help start each week in February off right,” Joanna Bonder, director of loyalty marketing and strategy at Dunkin’, said in a press release on Monday (Feb. 10).

To participate in the promotion, DD Perks members can either order ahead via the Dunkin’ app or have their loyalty ID QR code scanned before they pay. DD Perks members also earn five points for every $1 spent on qualifying purchases; 200 points gets users a reward for a free beverage of any size.

In 2020, Dunkin’ teamed up with Post to develop two coffee-flavored cereal varieties available at several grocery stores — Walmart, Stop & Shop, Publix, Wegmans, Albertsons and Food Lion, per reports. The cereals — Post Dunkin’ Caramel Macchiato and Post Dunkin’ Mocha Latte — reportedly taste like coffee and have a caffeine kick.

As Dunkin’ continues to reinvent its brand, it has expanded its partnership with Shell Oil Company. In July, however, Dunkin’ announced it was closing 450 Speedway gas station locations due to tight quarters and restricted menu offerings.

Dunkin’ Brands, the parent of Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins, was acquired by Inspire Brand in November 2020 for $11.3 billion. There are more than 12,500 Dunkin’ locations and almost 8,000 Baskin’ Robbins locations. Aspire already owns more than 11,000 Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Sonic Drive-in and Jimmy John’s locations.
