HSBC Appoints Kohli To Lead Global Liquidity And Cash Management

HSBC

HSBC has appointed Manish Kohli to serve as its new Head of Global Liquidity and Cash Management (GLCM). He will join the bank in the fourth quarter and succeed Diane Reyes, who will be retiring.

Kohli, who will be based in New York, will concentrate on expanding GLCM revenues in important corridors. He will also focus on further bolstering and growing HSBC’s product functionalities and digital tools to support the needs of the firm’s clients.

Kohli will join HSBC from Citi, where he has worked for over two decades throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the global organization based in the United States. Since 2017, Kohli has headed up Citi’s Payments and Receivables business. Prior to that time, he served as Citi’s global head of commercial cards.

PYMNTS previously reported that HSBC has launched an application programming interface (API) developer portal. “APIs are the future of corporate-to-bank connectivity, and the launch of our Developer Portal is the natural next step,” Nadya Hijazi, head of Digital, Global Liquidity and Cash Management at HSBC, said in an announcement in June.
