Paytronix Names Director Of Restaurant Insights

Restaurant Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform Paytronix named Kristin Lynch the company’s new director of Restaurant Insights, a role in which she will manage clients’ interactions with Paytronix Data Insights, according to a company press release.

Lynch and her team will help restaurant brands — clients like Checkers and Rally’s, Jimmy John’s, Caribou Coffee and California Pizza Kitchen — analyze data and apply those insights to improve customer relationships and boost sales, the release stated. The data is sourced from customer relation solutions like loyalty programs, online ordering, social networks, email clubs and guest surveys.

“At Paytronix, I have the privilege of collaborating with restaurant brands, bringing them data insights, thinking through bigger planning ideas with them from a brand/business perspective, and providing ROI and showing the value of a campaign or the loyalty program,” Lynch said in the release.

Analyzing data like this can reveal important avenues of revenue for restaurants brands, which is what Lynch and her team of strategists and marketing specialists intend to do for Paytronix clients, according to the release.

A total of 40 percent of vaccinated restaurant customers said they would increase their purchase spend if they could earn loyalty and rewards on their orders, PYMNTS found in collaboration with Paytronix.

Online and mobile ordering will also continue to play big roles post-pandemic as 92 percent of vaccinated restaurant patrons said they will continue ordering online somewhat as often as they currently do, the study found.

And restaurateurs should start preparing for an increase in customers — particularly those willing to dine on-premises.

“32 percent of independent sit-down restaurant customers who are ‘very’ or ‘extremely’ likely to get vaccinated plan to order and dine on-site more often once immunized,” the report found.

Lynch is a 20-year marketing veteran with experience working at large retail and consumer-packaged goods (CPG) companies like Kleenex Facial Tissue, 9Lives Cat Food and Round Table Pizza, the release stated. She formerly served as a strategist for Massachusetts-based Paytronix.
