Walmart Labs, Walmart’s Silicon Valley-based innovation lab, has acquired data analytics startup Inkiru.
The acquisition is designed to “accelerate the retail giant’s analytics capabilities,” TechCrunch reported. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Inkiru’s platform combines data analytics, a decision engine and predictive intelligence to form an “active learning system” that claims to help reduce fraud and improve customer targeting.
