David Katz, formerly the vice president and general manager of consumer mobile at Groupon, is departing the Chicago-based company to work at Florida-based online sports apparel retailer Fanatics, TechCrunch reported on July 29.
Katz announced his departure in an email to friends and co-workers. Groupon’s senior vice president of product development Jeff Holden will head up the department until the daily deals giant finds a full-time replacement.
