Apple Plots NFC Gifting System

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has published a patent application filed by Apple for technology that allows iOS device users to exchange media via NFC, NFC World reported on August 16.

    NFC World said this is another sign that Apple may be looking to integrate NFC technology into its devices. The patent was filed in March.
