DoorDash Integrates With Google to Offer Frictionless Ordering, Payment

DoorDash is integrating its Storefront online ordering product with Order with Google, allowing customers to order directly through Search and Maps. “Customers are already searching on Google to learn more about a restaurant, and this integration helps restaurants grow their online business even further by streamlining the ordering experience,” said DoorDash Chief Revenue Officer Tom Pickett.

Grubhub to Launch 15-Minute Grocery Delivery With Buyk

Grubhub is getting into the ultrafast grocery space, forming a partnership with quick-delivery grocery startup Buyk that will make Buyk’s offerings available through Grubhub’s marketplace. “This partnership will make the Grubhub Marketplace a one-stop shop for restaurants, convenience items and grocery supplies, building more diner loyalty and helping drive even more orders to all of our restaurant and merchant partners,” said Grubhub Director of Growth and New Verticals Kyle Goings. The companies said the partnership will be available in parts of New York City and Chicago in the coming weeks, with orders fulfilled by Buyk’s driver network.

Revolut Lets Users Book Trips Now, Pay Later

Financial super app Revolut has unveiled a tool for its travel product Stays. Revolut Stays will now let customers in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area make a reservation through the company app, with the option of either paying when they arrive for their stay with their Revolut card or settling their bill upfront at the time of booking.

Flywire, Adapt IT Digitize International Education Payments in South Africa

Global payments platform Flywire Corporation has integrated with Adapt IT Education to digitize cross-border education payments for students in South Africa. The firms said customers who directly integrate with Adapt IT’s ITS Integrator student management system will see better operational efficiencies and less administrative burden from international tuition payments.

The solution will manage payments, tax, fraud and compliance, and will simplify cross-border selling and help with global expansion. In addition, merchants can integrate Digital River’s Merchant of Record business model to assist with risks and capitalize on conversions through localized checkouts, allowing merchants to access new markets and enjoy easier cross-border selling more quickly.
