DuPont Community Credit Union Taps Lumin Digital For Banking Technology

DuPont Community Credit Union (DCCU) inked a multiyear deal for Lumin Digital’s cloud-native platform for online and mobile digital banking, Lumin Digital, a PSCU company, announced Wednesday (June 2) in a press release emailed to PYMNTS. The credit union (CU) has been part of the PSCU cooperative since 1996.

“We are extremely pleased that DCCU chose to partner with Lumin Digital and expand its partnership with the PSCU family,” Lumin Digital President Jeff Chambers said in the release. “Lumin Digital shares DCCU’s commitment to elevating and enhancing member technology, and we look forward to working alongside DCCU to provide its members with cutting-edge products and services.”

Lumin Digital will support over 110,000 DCCU members at the time that the CU launches on the platform next month, the release stated.

“DCCU has always strived to create a digital member experience that complements the consultative, friendly and educational environments in our branches and contact center,” DCCU President and CEO Steve Elkins said in the release. “Lumin Digital’s innovative focus on member engagement and intuitive interface made moving to the platform an easy decision for our team.”

DCCU Chief Information Officer Michael Tranum said in the release that the CU is excited to move to a technology that provides a smooth connection to third-party organizations in addition to the CU’s own offerings.

“Thanks to a robust software development kit (SDK), Lumin’s platform will allow us to quickly release enhancements and new products simultaneously to both desktop and mobile users,” Tranum said in the release.

Lumin Digital provides digital banking offerings to financial institutions (FIs) throughout the United States, according to the release.

Beyond DCCU, Fort Financial Credit Union (Fort Financial) signed a multiyear deal for Lumin Digital’s online and mobile digital banking cloud-native system, PYMNTS reported.

Lumin Digital will support more than 30,000 Fort Financial members when the CU rolls out on the system in September.

“Lumin Digital’s forward-thinking development is exactly what we were looking for in a digital banking partner,” Fort Financial Credit Union President and CEO Steve Collins said in a previous announcement.
