Crypto payment service provider BitPay has announced a new promotion for seamless crypto buying without any card fees through the BitPay Wallet app, the company announced Monday (Dec. 20).

As part of this collaboration with Simplex, a fiat infrastructure for digital assets, BitPay Wallet users can buy crypto with a debit or credit card, Apple Pay or the BitPay Debit Card for a limited time.

The promotion is open to U.S. residents. Using the BitPay Wallet App, users can send, receive and crypto, check the price of crypto, store funds and purchase gift cards using various crypto.

“For U.S. consumers who want to buy bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies for the first time, this new campaign is a fast, safe and secure way to get started,” Stephen Pair, BitPay CEO, said in the release. “BitPay wants to accelerate adoption of crypto and enable more consumers to live life on crypto.

“Working with Simplex, we’ve made it simple to make purchases by using a familiar app experience and eliminating the need for users to navigate to a cryptocurrency exchange to fund the wallet.”

Simplex offers a number of crypto payment options and fraud-free protections. According to Nimrod Lehavi, Simplex founder and CEO, the company’s modus operandi is to make the crypto space more accessible for new users.
