Medicine is a serious business, as is saving on medicine. For that reason, we present the PYMNTS Provider Rankings of Prescription Apps monthly to gauge the apps helping consumers afford pricey remedies.
For what is normally a quiet ranking, we’ve got some changes to discuss this time around.
The Top 5
GoodRx seems unshakeable at No. 1
Occupying the No. 2 rank for months, the SingleCare app is similarly solid.

At what’s become its usual spot at No. 3, we find the CVS Caremark app.
For yet another firm position, we’ve still got OptumRx at No. 4.
Here’s a switch: the Publix Pharmacy app gains one spot to enter the Top 5 at No. 5.
The Top 10
That gain by Publix pushes the Express Scripts app down to the No. 6 chart position.
Up one chart position to No. 7 is the RxLocal app.
As is the case in these moves, one app’s gain is another’s loss, as Inside Rx drops a spot to No. 8 in the latest ranking.
Finishing out with no change, we’ve still got RxSaver ranked at No. 9 and Blink Health hanging onto the No. 10 spot.
