Eighty-one of the 100 largest U.S. financial institutions offer some form of mobile banking: an 11 percent increase from a year ago, according to a report by First Annapolis.

    The report also showed that 60 of the banks offer SMS alerts, while 26 have launched tablet-optimized apps, reports The Paypers.
