Aggregift, a gifting startup, is launching a new service allowing users to crowdfund and purchase gifts on Amazon, reports TechCrunch.
Selected gifts get their own pages on Aggregift.com that can be shared online or via social site such as Facebook or Twitter. A users’ contribution amount is never revealed to the gift recipient, although the service does come with award badges such as “Top Contributor.”
