Banamex announced on July 11 that it has become the first bank in North American to launch iAcepta Movil Banamex, an mPOS solution that enables secure mobile payments, a press release for the company said.
“This is the first mPOS solution from BANAMEX that meets EMV certifications and can accept payments from MasterCard or Visa chip cards,” the company said in a statement.
