eBay has announced its free service provider marketplace and Angie’s List competitor eBayHire will launch in the U.S., TechCrunch reported on November 15.

    Consumers can use eBayHire to contact traditional service providers such as contractors, drivers and movers, book an appointments and pay for the services. Providers are able to create profile pages to attract customers.

    Though the service is currently free to users, eBay is reportedly considering charging users commissions following the current promotional period.
