    HSN intends to use SMS and push notifications to tap into its 900,000-strong subscriber base. Specific deals include pre-Black Friday specials that will appear in the weeks before the biggest shopping day of the year.

    “Unlike many [retailers] that silo by channel, for us, [mobile] is one amazing experience,” Bill Brand, HSN’s chief marketing and business development officer, told Mobile Commerce Daily in an interview.
