IBM has announced the launch of Digital Loan Processing, a new platform that promises to reimagine the core lending business process by adding mobile applications and analytics, a press release from the New York-based company revealed on September 5.
IBM said the solution will allow borrowers to become more involved in the lending process. Lenders who use the platform give customers the ability to upload documents and monitor loan approvals in real time.
“By partnering with IBM, lenders can outmaneuver the competition with a rich digital customer experience that gives borrowers the self service and transparency they desire,” Eric Ray, the general manager of IBM’s financial services sector, said in a September 5 statement.
