Tech Giants Team With FIs For CardLinx Association

Bank of America, Discover, Facebook, First Data and Microsoft are among a number of payments industry players behind the CardLinx Association, a new group aimed at promoting interoperable card-linked customer offers, Finextra reported on October 7.

The CardLinx Association aims to give merchants and advertisers the ability to deliver deals and incentives without needing to use a mobile promotional code, paper coupon or voucher. The group is open to advertisers, financial institutions, merchants, merchant acquirers and payment networks.
