U.S. Bank, the lead bank of U.S. Bancorp, has announced in an October 28 press release that it will integrate Mitek’s mobile photo balance transfer service into its own client offerings.
Users can take photos of credit card payment coupons with their mobile devices and upload images to U.S. Bank’s balance transfer authorization system.
“U.S. Bank recognizes the power of mobile imaging and its ability to enhance our customers’ experience by giving them new and innovative ways to access and manage their banking relationship with us,” said Niti Badarinath, senior vice president and head of mobile banking at U.S. Bank.
