Verizon, Walmart Move On Same-Day Delivery

Mobile and wireless provider Verizon has announced that it will begin testing a same-day delivery program, which would make it possible for customers to order smartphones online and receive them in the mail on the same day, according to VentureBeat.

Orders, must be made before 10 AM, and there is a fee of $20.

In related news, Walmart has decided to expand its “Walmart To Go” same-day grocery delivery service to Denver, Colorado, after previous service tests in San Jose and San Francisco, according to TechCruch.

Customers will be allowed to try the service on a first-come, first-serve basis.
