Popular Chinese Internet portal Tencent has announced it is offering a new service to selected merchants via WeChat, ThePaypers reports. The company will now allow these users to link a payment service to its app to process payments.
Online transactions made using credit cards, online banking or the company’s third-party payment platform TenPay can now be processed through WeChat.
