Payment Companies Partner Up To Reach Teen Market

Payments technology firm Virtual Peggy, which launched the youth payment technology Oink, announced that it partnered with Amplifi Commerce to better reach teen retailers.

Amplifi is a commerce solutions provider, and according to The Paypers, it helps organizations in their business strategy, performance marketing, technology implementations and operational management solutions for retail.

The payment technology Oink is designed to let retailers and game publishers legally reach younger consumers – under 21 – that is compliant with the FTC and other international regulations. Oink serves as a digital family wallet that is available online or via mobile and allows parentally controlled transactions.

According to other research, teenagers are very likely to use e-money for social networks and online games. Last month, TSN conducted a multi-age survey to see what people knew about multiple payment options including e-money. The research found that overall, the most used non-cash payment method is offline payment at kiosks, followed by payment cards and e-money.
