PowaPOS And iConnect Partner For Tablet POS Solutions

Powa Technologies’ retail payments platform – PowaPOS – is partnering up with iConnect POS software to create a tablet-based POS solution designed to help meet the growing demand in mobile payments.

According to a company release, the innovation is called the PowaPOS T-Series, and is the first POS platform that integrates all major tablet platforms. Included in the T-Series solution are a high-speed printer, 2D barcode/QR code scanner, cash drawer, and EMV payment terminal and multiple expansion ports. Additionally, company executives said that the optional PowaPIN is the world’s smallest EMV chip-and-pin acceptance device.

iConnect founder and president Subodh Gupta explained in the release that the traditional payments ecosystem was inefficient and expensive.

“With a program designed for ISOs and personalized by merchants, PowaPOS and iConnect POS will deliver a greater value proposition with an out-of-the-box solution that simplifies the demands of running a company,” Gupta said. “With this powerful partnership, merchants can be up and running in as little as a single day.”

The release added that POS Portal will provide the PowaPOS/iConnect solution to merchants.
